Hi! My name is Anna Bernice and welcome to my website! I sincerely appreciate your visit, and I hope you enjoy reading.

Since I was in high school, I’ve always fallen in love with writing (poetry, in particular) and without a shadow of a doubt, my love for it has grown over the years. In my younger years, when I was once a melodramatic, histrionic, and high-spirited juvenile, I took writing as my emotional outlet. My life then was a Ferris wheel – a cycle of euphoria and melancholia, with the pseudo-confidence of living my life to the fullest. But then as the days run, I realize that there is more to life than what my naked eyes see. And all these superficial, fleeting feelings I had at the moment will fade and change, along with the season I am into. I faced the different phases of joy and brokenness, some in the hard way. But through it all I learned to embrace every step of my journey – from a hard-headed, vulnerable, and fragile teenager to the woman that I have become now – and fully understood that all of it that I have gained experience from, was slowly being weaved into a blemished but beautiful life testimony meant to be shared to those who wish to hear. Thus, creating this small haven of typewritten letters, revelations elliptically hiding mostly in metaphors and subliminal poetry contexts.

As I quote Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:10: “It was all by grace that I am who I am today.” In gratitude to the One who never gave up on me when I was on the verge of giving up even on the small crumbs that were left of me, I dedicate all these words to Him until the day of my parting. As I live the moment of today, I know I’m still flawed and imperfect but that’s what makes me more devoted to pursuing growth and maturity. Through this process, I am eager to learn and discover what my eyes haven’t yet seen and experience the fullness of love, so that I may share what I had and have. I believe everything has a purpose, and every opportunity to connect with people and touch as many lives as possible should not be wasted. In our unique precious journey, may we always choose to walk towards open doors for the betterment of our society and the salvation of many.

Here on this platform, I hope that I can connect with you and encourage you to press on and share your story in any way possible. For you matter, and the life story that builds up who you are. I pray that you find peace and purpose, light and love, and become your most genuine self as you discover God’s working hands guiding you along your life travels. You are never alone.
