As soon as he had sight of her, to hide himself did he make haste. He sought for a place where to weep for his heart yearned over her. He hid inside his bedchamber for he cannot yet come over. Deep within his heart, he desired to run towards her but he knew he had to refrain, for it was yet too soon. He knew it was not yet their time, so he spake nothing but silence. And his heart condoled with him. Bereaved he was, for there’s a deep longing in his heart to be with her. But he knew in his heart he was doing the right thing.
Patience is his vowed commitment.
To wait is what he was commanded.
And so he obeyed.
